Why  A Celebration?

After a two year hiatus, we brought the Celebration of Hope back!  Twenty years ago, Tom Owens started The Cara Program by assisting women in shelters to get back on their feet through employment and empowerment.  Since 1991, thousands of people, companies, foundations and communities have contributed to the success of over 2,800 Cara students.  Thank you for join us in celebrating twenty years of transforming lives.
