We Do the Numbers

To ensure that we steward our mission with care, we use tangible metrics to evaluate our effectiveness. We measure often and with intention. In fact, we measure longitudinally (over at least one year, and sometimes a two-year time horizon). We measure by cohort (to assess nuance in new populations of students* coming into the program). And we publish our results to our stakeholders regularly, to be transparent about our outcomes and to maintain a high bar for results.

* We use terms like 'students' and 'graduates' to underscore that our participants are not ‘clients’ to be served or ‘cases’ to be managed, but individuals who are in a learning environment and actively seeking to develop their skills.
