The Cara Program Awarded
Goldman Sachs’ Fellow
"Going from one world-class
organization to another," is how volunteer Mark
Carroll describes his year long sabbatical at The Cara
Program. Mark was awarded a Public Services Fellowship
from Goldman Sachs on December 1, 2004.
Mark is a Managing Director with
Goldman Sachs. After a competitive selection process,
Goldman awarded Mark one of five worldwide fellowships
for a paid sabbatical in public service.
“I am honored and humbled
by the opportunity given to me by Goldman Sachs and
The Cara Program," Mark said.
“I expect to be fully
immersed in the daily operation of the program as well
as assist the Cara executives and board with long-term
strategic planning. I hope to provide that extra set
of hands, eyes, and ears to help The Cara Program continue
to execute its vision and expand its horizons.”
