The Cara Program's Director of Student Affairs, Jesse Teverbaugh (pictured right), has received the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) Unsung Hero Award.  Jesse was recognized for "display[ing] extraordinary character by giving selflessly for the sake of others within the community".  In his role as Director of Student Affairs, Jesse oversees student progress through The Cara Program''s signature life- and career-skills training curriculum.  He motivates hundreds of men and women each year to "look with new eyes", radically transform their lives, and achieve long-term self-sufficiency.  We are  thrilled to see Jesse recognized for his excellence as a teacher, coach, mentor, and extraordinary communicator.
