On January 28, 2010, The Cara Program's staff, students, friends, and family were thrilled to participate in a special 'Motivations' followed by the dedication of our new office as The Thomas & Mary Owens Center, in honor of our founding family.

With state-of-the-art equipment and architecture as lofty as the dreams of our students, this inspiring 30,000 sq. ft. office space and training facility honors the vision of Tom Owens, who started The Cara Program 19 years ago, and celebrates the dedication that our students put into transforming their lives and breaking out of the cycle of poverty.  The office also reunites our staff and encourages collaboration, which will help us to further Tom's vision and work to eradicate poverty in Chicago.  Come experience 'motivations' in our new Great Room!
